eMotion Factory Entrepreneur & CEO
2003- 2010
Why? to promote the freedom of choosing the videos you want to watch and when at a time of the monopoly of broadcasters (before YouTube, Dailymotion,... exist).
How? From my expertise in the Meeting Industry and knowledge of Marketing, Digital Video and Internet, I have convinced Belgacom Skynet, the biggest Belgian telecom company, to create with Febiac, the Car Industry Federation, the first Motorshow WebTV. Few months later, still with Skynet, we launched BatibouwTV, linked to the national building and renovation fair. Year after year, those webtv's have been completed by a Wine Academy TV, a Cooking TV, Royal Canin TV, Awex TV, a Personal Development TV,... Also sponsorized by advertisers and profitable.
Results: Creation of the first fun, informative and profitable WebTVs. eMotion Factory was in charge of the concept and direction of the websites and the video production. It was the opportunity to create a 'virtual company' with actors, cameramen, video editors and webdevelopers. They were all freelances working from their home or office, were motivating by their autonomy, quality of life and the diversity of their job. This allows us to offer an outstanding price/quality service to our customers.
Besides the webtv's, Belgacom and I have organized 2 major congresses dedicated to "Interactive Media". 2x400 attendees have had the chance to discover outstanding international speakers from around the world of new media marketing.

Kinepolis Theatre Manager
1993 - 1994
In this huge theatre complex (24 theatre rooms, 7000 seats, up to 25.000 clients per day), I was in charge of the daily operations: recruitment, management, workprocess organization and support of 100 employees and students working as cashiers, hostesses, stewards, security, candy bars and cleaning. The job included event coordination and crowd management: welcome desks, traffic, computer process, cash management, medical emergencies, fire training,… Bilingual team to manage under pressure.
Xerox Sales Consultant
1992 - 1993
Education
Xerox was a great sales and interesting management school. The driver at Xerox are clearly the carott and the stick. The carotts could be really big. From this, all means were good to achieve the best results (inside competition). The pressure was very high. Great trainings and methods were offered. Results were good for those who stayed.
Club Med G.O. Hotel Management - Team Manager 1990 - 1992
Multi-cultural environment and management (about 30 nationalities). After 8 months at the French Riviera, I was appointed Manager of a team of 4 people in Greece. As part of the G.O. team, I participated also in the organisation of daily events and shows. It was a very intense experience as, at Club Med, you live with your 'colleagues', boss and customers. To be ready, open and smiley 7 days/week, and make your team acting the same way, was very fun and challenging.
